Understanding the supremacy of education for a brighter and more prosperous future, the United Nations holds a consensus that quality education and not just education should be a reality for all. In its Sustainable Development Goals, the UN identified quality education as the main goal to ensure the "transformation of the world" by 2030. By quality education, the UN envisages fair and standard education for all, which will support lifelong learning and the need to acquire knowledge. COVID Response to quality education

In 2020, the world was hit by Covid-19 and education was one of the most important factors that were adversely affected. Most countries have announced temporary school closures, affecting more than 91% of the world's students.

According to the UN, as of April 2020, approximately 1.6 billion students were out of school and nearly 369 million children depend on school meals. To ensure that education does not stop at this time, UNESCO has created the following goals:

Help countries mobilize resources and implement new and context-appropriate solutions to offer distance education using hi-tech, low-tech and non-tech methods

Seek fair solutions and universal access

Make sure there are coordinated responses that avoid overlapping efforts

Make it easier for students to return to school when they reopen to prevent dropout rates from increasing
